its cold in here

i just finished washing up

after getting drenched in the rain

it was AWESOME dude...

i was out with Dad to Toa Payoh to get him a new pair of specs

i thought only kids like me who damage their stuffs

but who guessed Dad was just like any one of us

haha

he meddled with his specs n somehow or the other,

it just broke into two separate pieces!

awesome magic Dad lol

i was dumbstruck when he said he wants an Oakley specs

i was like "WTH...all these while, i've been the one wanting that!"

but nvm, Dad has a point anyway...

i mean i change specs every year

while this is d 1st time he change after 6 years

so once in a while, he should pamper himself

headed to cwp first

it was his friend who told him to "might as well get an Oakley specs"

so we were at Capitol

browsing thru every Oakley specs there was at the showcase

both me n Dad got attracted to a silvery white one

but the sales person said thats an old model

but i loike...lol

so he introduced another pair, the latest model

nicee! the colour n design that is

the frame was err.....

same like the one Dad broke

but he likes it tho

*shrugs*

after bout half an hour,

Dad decided to go Tao Payoh first n check out the Oakley models there

so off we went to Toa Payoh!

it was freaking HOT okay...

got down from bike n received a msg from Lee

his mom getting him a new hp n a laptop

good for u =))

looked n asked around

Hmm...n i found out that

not many shops are carrying Oakley

even if they do, its all the old models of Oakley n its only one or two

there too, we found other brands with Oakley type of models

like P.O.L.I.C.E. n RUDY PROJECT

ever heard of em'?

the thing i dont like abt P.O.L.I.C.E. is that

David Beckham was wearing it!

n that makes him d ambassador of P.O.L.I.C.E.

eargh, blueks!

n why i prefer RUDY PROJECT instead was because

it comes with a pair of clip on shades

cool huh? LOL

eh, i sound as if i'm the one getting the specs!

LOL nvm, whatever i like, Dad likes it too

n whatever Dad likes, i like it too!

from motorbikes to specs to activites to ice cream to career

we have the same taste

hahas like father like daughter huh..

BUT

the only thing that doesnt goes along is that

he loves black but i love red

he likes mocha ice cream while i hate em' to e core!

Dad liked the RUDY PROJECT one which he saw

it has a nice batman-like frame

he looks fierce in it

so now gt 2 choice

Oakley or RUDY PROJECT

he was obviously stuck ah

cos he liked em' both n so was i

so confusing ah

so we did some cooling down

ate ice-cream n walked around

haha, it was as if this was a so damn BIG thing lor..

need to choose so carefully

of course la!

we're talking abt spending $450 on a pair of specs for goodness's sake!!

it was so tough a decision to make that he stared n me n i stared at him

could see Dad frowning n thinking so hard ah

ahaha

he even called his friend to get an opinion

since this friend of his who suggested him to get an Oakley specs

even his friend couldnt give him an exact ans

lol

so i say "Dad, just get RUDY PROJECT la.

I think Oakley is not as famous as before.

More shops offering RUDY PROJECT than Oakley.

Plus, it has shades..."

i didnt know i was an easy influence to him

at that moment, we u-turned n went to get that RUDY PROJECT

HAHAHA

then time to head home

told Dad todrop by cwp awhile

need to get the earphones b4 i go for our Genting-KL trip

but i guess the weather wasnt on our side

cos as soon as we left Toa Payoh area,

it started torain heavily

SO SO SO heavily

Dad didnt have raincoat so we practically just drove in rain

n i tell u,

starting it was F-U-N la

so cool

but gradually as we enter the expressway n large trucks were everywhere

i felt scared la

cos 1stly,

it was a downpour n the raindrops were piercing my skin

2ndly,

it was cold

n Dad wasnt in a good condition to be in a cold cos

he had been coughing for a week alr

3rdly,

Dad didn have his specs on cos obviuosly he just broke it

n his eyesight is not that good too

n it was a risk he took

i wonder why he didnt stop under the bridges

he was driving so slowly

even i as a pillion rider who had an eye degree of 600+ couldnt see e road

what more Dad who only has a degree of 300

=_=" scary le..

but thank God

we reached home safely

drenched from neck bottom

i suddenly felt myself so heavy cos of my wet clothing

reached door step

Mom was open mouthed

LOL

shocked to see the state we were in

HAHA

sis, lil sisn lil bro were sort of jealous i got to play in d rain

on a motorbike

haha, what do kids know anyway??

OKOK

better get a rest now

dont wanna fall sick

otherwise cant go Genting-KL
